Earth Hour, March 27th, 8.30pm

Earth Hour – Saturday March 27th, 8.30 PM

8.30pm (20h30) Saturday March 27th is Earth Hour – an opportunity to express your solidarity with the environment. No matter that Copenhagen was not what so many had hoped for, no matter that no everyone has been as open as they should have been… the climate IS changing.

Earth Hour gives us all the chance to send a message and spread the word – we are concerned, we will do our bit, and we want others to join in.

Just turning the lights out for an hour just might be fun, as well as sending the message. Have a candle-lit party, involve your friends and family. And sign up.

Successful CCF Annual Symposium 2010

January 18th, 2010

Attendance at this year’s  very successful Annual Symposium on 8th January was full despite the snow.  It gave CCF members and others the opportunity to share topical aspects of recent research and activities with the wider CCF membership, and to highlight important issues for the coming year (final programme).  Many of the presentations from the Symposium will shortly be available here for download.

Many thanks to the organising committee.  We look forward to next year’s Symposium!
