About us

Link to the the Cambridge Conservation Forum WordleCCF is an active network of conservation-related member organisations and institutions based in and around Cambridge and plays an important role as a founder member of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.

A special council meeting in 2009 and the Vision session at the 2010 Annual CCF Symposium developed a new CCF Vision document, which indicates some of the ways CCF is hoping to develop.

Membership

Membership is open to not-for-profit organisations and institutions, including governmental bodies and universities, that are based in and around Cambridge, and involved in conservation policy, practice and research.

Individuals with an active interest in conservation research, policy or advice but who are not in a member organisation may become “Friends” of the Forum.

To become a member or a friend of the CCF please contact the CCF Secretary, requesting membership, and we will discuss it at the next Council meeting.

Organisation and Governance

CCF Council meetings are held three times per year and may be attended by representatives of any CCF member organisation. The Committee comprising the Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Forum.
